Surveillance Video of Suspects Wanted in July Shooting at 8820 Westheimer Road

 

Houston police have released surveillance video of suspects wanted in the shooting of a man at 8820 Westheimer Road about 10:15 p.m. on July 25.

The suspects are described only as three black males in a Hyundai Tucson SUV.  The surveillance video is attached to this news release.

The victim, 29, was transported to an area hospital where he remains in stable condition with serious injuries.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers K. Vu and A. Garcia reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the parking garage of an apartment complex at the above address and observed the victim, a security guard, with multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital.

Officers were advised of possible vehicle burglaries at the time of the shooting.

Further investigation and surveillance video showed the victim confront three unknown suspects breaking into vehicles.  One suspect fired shots and struck the victim.  Two suspects fled in the Hyundai SUV, while one suspect ran out the garage to an outdoor staircase.
