| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3800 Rebecca Street about 11:55 p.m. last Friday (Nov. 3).
The identity of the victim, 55, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers R. Watson and M. Barrow reported:
An officer was working a crash scene when he was approached by a citizen who advised a man was shot at a nearby location. Patrol officers responded to the above address and located the victim. When they asked him what happened, he stated he did not know. The man then lost consciousness. Paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
