UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in May Fatal Shooting at 99 North Post Oak Lane

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 99 North Post Oak Lane about 3:35 p.m. on May 21.

The suspect, 16 at the time of the incident, has been referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a capital murder charge.  Booking photos of juveniles are not releasable.

The victim is identified as Moses Gama, 21.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Finlay and L. Kauffman reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex parking lot at the above address and found the victim, later identified as Mr. Gama,  suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

At that time, investigators believed the unknown suspect(s) attempted to rob the victim prior to shooting him.

Further investigation identified the juvenile male as the suspect in this case and a capital murder warrant was filed.  On Monday (August 28), the suspect turned himself in to police and was booked into the Harris County Juvenile Justice Center.
