Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9401 Blackhawk Boulevard about 7:05 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 12).
The identity of the victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported: Officers were dispatched to a person down call in a park at the above address after a passerby observed a male lying on the bleachers. Officers arrived and observed the male had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics were called and pronounced the man deceased. At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the shooting.
