WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: July 20, 2023, at 8:58 p.m.
WHERE: 1500 block of Black Bear Dr. 77532.
INJURIES: One civilian treated on scene.
PROPERTY SAVED: $87,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $250,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a house on fire and made an offensive attack. A primary and secondary search were completed and cleared. The utilities were secured, and the home was ventilated. Once the fire was extinguished, HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. One resident was treated on scene by HFD EMS. 31 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including crews from Stations 64, 102, 65, 103, 105, 101, 30 and the Atascocita Fire Department.
