Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of two men and one woman at 8724 Fulton Street about 4:20 a.m. on Saturday (July 15).
The suspect, Derick M. Cole Santiago, 21, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 176th State District Court. A booking photo of Cole Santiago is attached to this news release.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Detectives J. Windham and C. Brown reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in an after-hours business at the above address. They found two males, 33 and 31, and the female, 26, suffering from gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported them to area hospitals in stable conditions.
Detectives learned an altercation escalated into a shooting and a bar security guard detained the suspect, Cole Santiago. He was subsequently arrested and charged.
