WHERE: 3200 block of Bandell Dr. 77045.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $93,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $115,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unitentional (electrical failure, malfunction, other)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived within six minutes to find some coming from the attic of a 1-story house and made an interior attack. The attic was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. The utilities were secured, and the fire was extinguished. The fire appeared to have originated from the breaker box. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the residents. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 55, 2, 21, 59, 47, 48, 24, 33 and Rehab 8.
