UPDATE: Persons of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 2200 Teague Road

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man found at 2200 Teague Road about 6:35 p.m. on Sunday (July 2).

Surveillance photos of the persons of interest are attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Brooks and J. Gardner reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a field at the above address and located the victim, who suffered at least one gunshot wound.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

Investigators learned a male chased the victim and shot him as he ran away. The suspect, described only as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, fled the scene.

Further investigation developed information on the three persons of interest pictured below.  Detectives would like to speak with them regarding their possible involvement in the incident.   Anyone with information on the identities of the persons of interest or  in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
