Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7600 De Moss Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7600 De Moss Drive about 3 a.m. on Saturday (July 1).

The identity of the victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective K. Lovelace reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call to a shopping center at the above address and found the victim on a sidewalk.  The man had suffered at least one gunshot wound.  Paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

At this time, there is no known suspect description or motive in the shooting.
