Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3003 Seagler Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of a woman at 3003 Seagler Road about 6:15 p.m. on Saturday (July 1).

The identity of the victim, 40, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettry reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call to a parking garage of the apartment complex at the above address and found the victim unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics pronounced the man deceased.

Officers later learned a female victim, 25, was admitted to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg.  It was determined both incidents were related. 

A witness observed a black male running away from the scene with a gun in his hand.
