WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: June 20, 2023, at 11:04 p.m.
WHERE: 4000 block of Mischire Dr. 77025.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $575,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $125,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (Appears to be accidental at this time).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire coming through the roof of a house and garage. They made an offensive attack with most of the fire in the attic of the garage. Crews conducted a primary search and secured the utilities. Rehab was requested and firefighters were rotated due to the hot and humid conditions. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 42 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 37, 48, 2, 21, 59, 3, 51, 33, 24 and Rehab 8.
