WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: June 5, 2023 at 12:32 a.m.
WHERE: 3200 block of Ann Arbor Dr. 77063.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $75,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a vacant 2-story house on fire. They made a defensive attack and protected nearby exposures. Once the fire was controlled, crews conducted a primary search and checked for hotspots and extension. The fire was fully extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. HPD was requested to secure the property until the owners could be located. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 60, 2, 28, 83, 10, 51 and 57.
