WHAT: Office building fire.
WHEN: June 3, 2023 at 10:52 p.m.
WHERE: 131 Northpoint Dr. 77060.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $341,449 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $45,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from the back of a small 1-story office building. They forced entry and conducted a primary search. An offensive attack was made and HPD was requested for traffic control. A void space was found between the ceiling and the roof with fire throughout. The fire was fully extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 84, 15, 31, 64, 74, 30 and the Aldine Fire Department.
