CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from the first floor of a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The crews extinguished the fire in a vacant unit with no spread to the structural members. A fan was used to clear the smoke and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 31 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 26, 70, 36, 52, 61 and 29.
