Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5901 Selinsky Road about 4:25 a.m. today (May 18).
The identity of the victim, believed to be 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address. They found the victim unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, which appeared to have been involved in a crash. Houston Fire Department paramedics declared the victim deceased from a gunshot wound.
Further investigation developed a suspect description of a slim built black male, believed to be between 20 – 25 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and wearing a white hoodie.
