WHAT: Mobile home fire.

WHERE: 7900 block of Lane St. 77029.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $12,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical failure, malfunction, other).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a mobile home on fire. Crews extinguished the fire in what appeared to be in a tool trailer or hauler and ensured all hotspots were out. An extension cord running from the home to the trailer shorted, starting the fire. Crews from Stations 41, 20, 45, 42 and 27 responded to this incident.
