CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical failure, malfunction, other).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find light smoke coming from a 1-story apartment. They extinguished the fire which was caused by a portable fan and spread to a nearby piece of furniture. Crews from Stations 34, 32, 39, 43, 56 and 30 responded to this incident.
