| Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 7401 Cullen Boulevard about 11:30 p.m. on November 12.
The suspect, Michael Carl Draper, 56, is charged with murder and felon in possession of a weapon in the 184th State District Court. A booking photo of Draper is attached to this news release.
The victim has been identified as Satisfield Landry, 33.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Hollohazy and Detective C. Bowling reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found the victim lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounce the victim deceased.
Further investigation identified Draper as the suspect in this case and, on November 20, warrants were issued for his arrest. Draper was arrested last Friday (December 16) by the HPD Southeast Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team and members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force.
