Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 5100 South Acres Drive about 11:40 a.m. on Saturday (Dec. 10).The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Pak and J. Wallschlaeger reported:Officers were dispatched to a deceased person call and were advised that a passerby observed an adult male unresponsive in a ditch at the above address. The man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased by paramedics.At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in this incident.Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
