Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others at 7211 Northline Drive about 8 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 19).
The identity of the deceased victim, 18, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The two other victims, 19 and 21 years of age, were transported to an area hospital. HPD Homicide Division Detective A. Graf and Officer E. Torres reported: Officers were flagged down by two males in a parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address. One male had sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder and the other male was shot multiple times. Both victims told officers there was a third male victim likely deceased in the parking lot of the complex. The third male was located and pronounced deceased by paramedics. The two surviving victims were transported to a local hospital. Detectives learned three male suspects approached a truck and fired shots at the man inside and at two other males in the parking lot. A witness stated the suspects, described only as black males, fled the scene on foot. The man in the truck was pronounced deceased.
