Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 251 West Parker Road about 6:35 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 29).
The identity of the victim, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Detective K. Persad reported: Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the gas station at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses stated the victim was shot and then run over by the suspect in a silver sedan. Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives learned the suspect had an argument with his girlfriend earlier in the day and took the girlfriend’s vehicle. The girlfriend later located her vehicle at the gas station where she and the victim confronted the suspect. The argument escalated into the shooting.
