WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: October 11, 2022 at 12:49 p.m.
WHERE: 600 block of Oxford St. 77007
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from the back yard of a residence. A partially extinguished fire was found on the side of the home. A neighbor was putting water on the siding where it was burning. HFD Crews completed extinguishment and found no extension of the fire. It was determined the fire was started by wiring underneath the home. Firefighters from Stations 6, 8, 9, 11, 15, 19 and 30 responded to this incident.
