Houston police have released surveillance photos of a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a man at 10012 Cullen about 7 a.m. today (October 8).
The person of interest is described only as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He is seen wearing black clothing and reddish-orange Nike tennis shoes. Surveillance photos are attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 82, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:
Officers responded to a report of a deceased male and found Houston Fire Department paramedics at the scene when they arrived. The victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
