Charges have been filed against a second suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman and the wounding of a man at 3505 Gillespie Street about 11:40 p.m. on December 29, 2021.
The suspect, Brandon Grable Fielding, 40, is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 183rd State District Court. A booking photo of Fielding is attached to this news release.
Another suspect, John Lindsey Daniels, 40, was arrested on September 1. He is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 262nd State District Court. A booking photo of Daniels (previously released on Sept. 2) is also attached to this news release.
Fielding and Daniels are accused in the death of Andrea Faulwell, 40, and the wounding of Terrance Brooks, 33.
HPD Homicide Division Lieutenant J. Horn, Sergeant A. Grimes and Detectives K. Persad and J. Escobar reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the residence at the above address and learned a group of people were outdoors playing dominos when two males approached them and started shooting. Ms. Faulwell and Mr. Brooks were in the group and were struck. The suspects fled the scene. Paramedics transported the victims to the hospital where Faulwell was pronounced deceased and Brooks was in stable condition. Further investigation identified Daniels as a suspect in the case and he was taken into custody in September without incident.
Detectives determined Fielding was a second suspect in the incident. On Thursday (Oct. 6), officers with the HPD Northeast Crime Suppression Team arrested Fielding without incident.
