| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9707 Braeburn Glen Boulevard about 9:40 p.m. on Monday (September 12).
The identity of the victim, 33, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim lying on the side of the road. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased,
According to a witness, a white newer model Jeep Renegade fled the scene at a high rate of speed immediately after the shooting.
At this time, there is no known suspect description.
