Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another at 3801 Liberty Road about 9:50 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 10).
Two surveillance photos of the wanted red Dodge Charger, with tinted windows and a sunroof, are attached to this news release.
The identity of the deceased victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The other victim, 33, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the arm.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington, Officer G. Zavala and Detective K. Fregia reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the corner food store at the above address and found the victim lying on the ground in front of the business. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased.
A second victim was wounded by the suspect who fired shots into the group of people in front of the convenience store.
Witnesses stated two black male suspects fled the scene in a red Dodge Charger.
