Investigation into Woman’s Death at 9203 McDade Street

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 9203 McDade Street about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (August 6).

The identity and cause of death of the woman, 87, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Detective J. Campbell reported:

HPD homicide detectives were contacted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences about a suspicious death of an elderly woman in a residence at the above address.

Detectives learned that about 8:30 a.m. last Friday (August 5), the woman was transported to Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center due to rapid breathing.  Medical personnel checked the woman and found spinal fractures, bruising, chest injuries not consistent with CPR being performed, and a human bite mark to her abdomen.

At this time, there are no known suspects.  The investigation is pending the woman’s cause of death.
