WHERE: 4300 block of Providence, 77020.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find heavy fire coming from the front of a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and checked the nearby exposures. A primary search was completed, and the utilities were secured. The home was ventilated, and the fire was controlled. CenterPoint arrived on scene to disconnect the power. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 15, 19, 20, 9, 17, 27, 18 and 30 responded to this incident.
