Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on human remains found at 5207 Peach Creek Drive about 3 p.m. on Tuesday (July 12).
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will conduct the autopsy to help determine an identity and manner of death in the case. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Dunn and Detective J. Gardner reported: Officers responded to a call to the residence at the above address on reports that human skeletal remains were found in a barbeque pit behind the home. It is unknown how long the remains were inside the barbeque pit. The investigation is continuing.
