WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 6300 block of Ivyknoll, 77035
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $140,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $80,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (abandoned or discarded materials or products).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from the roof and side of a 1-story house with a fence fully involved on fire. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary and secondary search. Everyone had made it outside safely. The crews controlled the fire which had spread to the attic of the home. The fire originated from an unattended barrel barbeque pit. Firefighters from Stations 68, 82, 59, 48 and 24 responded to this incident.
