Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 3800 Alice Street about 10:45 a.m. on Monday (July 4).
The identity of the victim and his cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported: HPD patrol officers observed a pickup truck parked along side the street at the above address. They approached the vehicle and detected a strong odor coming from inside the vehicle. Officers opened a door and observed a comforter covering a male in the driver’s seat. It appeared the male suffered multiple puncture wounds to the neck.. Paramedics pronounced the male deceased. Further investigation developed a suspect described only as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a yellow work shirt and tan work boots.
