Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and found Ms. August suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. She was with two unknown males when she called a friend and said she was going to stop by for a visit. When August got to her friend’s house, she got into an argument with the males. As August was trying to get her cell phone from the front passenger side of the vehicle she was riding in, a shot was fired and August was struck. The two male suspects fled the scene in a four-door black sedan westbound on Bandlon. Paramedics transported August to a hospital.
The suspects were described only as two black males.
