WHAT: Residential Detached Garage Fire

DAMAGE: $30,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (abandoned or discarded material or products).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from a detached garage of a house. The neighbor had used a water hose to attempt to put the fire out prior to HFDs arrival. Crews made an offensive attack and extinguished the remaining fire. Firefighters from Stations 21 and 37 responded to this incident.
