WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: April 25, 2022 at 10:55 p.m.
WHERE: 4100 block of Bennington, 77016
INJURIES: One resident transported to the hospital.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $80,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from the sides of a house. They began an attack on the fire and made entry. A primary search was completed, and the home was ventilated. Once the fire was controlled, HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. One resident was transported to the hospital. Crews from Stations 15, 19, 12, 34, 39 and 43 responded to this incident.
