Further investigation and evidence from the scene indicated the victim walked with a female witness toward their shared hotel room. The suspects also fired several shots at a vehicle attempting to leave the parking lot, but it is unknown if anyone in the vehicle was struck.
The suspects then got into their vehicle, possibly a Grand Marquis, and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The suspects are described only as three black males, 18 to 25 years of age.
