Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 902 Woolworth Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 902 Woolworth Street about 1 a.m. on Sunday (March 20).

The identity of the victim, 17, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Kauffman and A. Ferrell reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found the victim, who had been shot in the chest near his residence.  He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
