WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 2400 block of Des Chaumes, 77026
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $25.5 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $52.5 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find fire coming from the side of a 1-story home. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the house. A primary and secondary search was completed, and the fire was tapped out. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 15, 8, 9, 12, 17, 27, 19 and 30 responded to this incident.
