WHERE: 2000 block of Parker, 77093
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $7.5 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $12.5 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming through the roof of a small 1-story detached garage. They made an attack on the fire and protected the house. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes. A tree had fallen and struck a junction box, and most of the fire was noted around the junction box. Crews from Stations 58, 30, 34 and 31 responded to this incident.
