WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: March 1, 2022 at 9:57 p.m.
WHERE: 11900 block of Duane, 77047
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $85 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $6 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find smoke and fire coming from the exterior of a boarded-up home. They forced entry and extinguished the fire in less than 10 minutes. The house was ventilated with a fan and primary and secondary searches were completed with no one found. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 46, 24, 35 and 55 responded to this incident.
