Surveillance photo in Stabbing at 909 Texas Avenue

Houston police have released the surveillance photo of a suspect sought in the stabbing of a man that occurred at 909 Texas Avenue about 3:30 p.m. on February 16.

The unidentified suspect is described only as a black male with a slim build, wearing black pants, a grey sweater, and a grey, red and white beanie.

The male victim, 40, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Huerta and C. Brannen reported:

Officers responded to the above address and found a victim who had been stabbed multiple times in the neck. The motive is unknown and the suspect made no statements before attacking the victim. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
