Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of a another that occurred at 1300 Hadley Street and 1300 Webster Street about 9:10 p.m. last Friday (February 18).
The suspect is describe as a heavy set Hispanic male between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing black clothing.

The identity of the deceased victim, in his 50s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The second male victim, in his 40s, was transported to an area hospital in critical, but stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patterson and N. Henderson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at 1300 Webster Street and found one male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital in critical condition.
Minutes later, HPD patrol officers responded to a second shooting at 1300 Hadley and found another male had been shot multiple times. HFD paramedics pronounced the male deceased.
A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene indicated the two shootings may have been committed by the same suspect who had attempted to rob the victims.
The suspect is described only as a white or Hispanic male, wearing all dark-colored clothing. His jacket appeared to have a white or light-colored patch on the left arm.
