| Houston police are investigating the assault of a man that occurred at 4909 West 34th Street about 8:10 p.m. on Sunday (January 16).
The victim, Michael Paul Kubeczka, 43, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective M. Gregg reported:
An HPD patrol officer found Mr. Kubeczka bleeding from the head in the parking lot of a business park at the above address. A preliminary investigation determined Kubeczka had been struck in the head with an unknown object by his girlfriend. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Kubeczka to the hospital.
The suspect, described only as a white female, known as “Jessica”, had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival and is currently at-large.
