| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3300 South Dairy Ashford Road about 1:55 a.m. on Saturday (January 15).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer R. Romo reported:
HPD patrol officers observed a white Toyota Camry UXS driving erratically in the 1900 block of South Dairy Ashford Road and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle sped away and struck a tree in the 3300 block of South Dairy Ashford. The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
