Investigation into Shooting at 17435 Imperial Valley Drive

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 17435 Imperial Valley Drive about 4:10 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 1).

The victim, Kenyon McQueen, 21, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers H. Martinez and Z. Brumley reported:

Officers were dispatched to a drive-by shooting call near a bus stop at the above address and found Mr. McQueen with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and right arm.  Officers immediately rendered aid to McQueen.  Paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital. 

Detectives recovered multiple spent bullet casings and were advised a dark-colored vehicle was seen travelling northbound on Imperial Valley immediately after the shooting.

At this time, there is no suspect description or motive in the incident.
