ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire and smoke coming from the first floor of a 2-story vacant apartment building. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. A small fire was found in a nearby building as well. The crews extinguished both fires and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origins. CenterPoint was also requested due to a gas leak near the building. Firefighters from Stations 31, 64, 74, 84 and 30 responded to this incident.
