Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3100 Elgin Street about 2:05 a.m. today (Dec. 7).
The victim, believed to be in his 40s, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers V. Garcia and J. Cimeni reported: Officers responded to a shooting call at a trail near the above address at the Velasco Street intersection. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported him to a hospital. At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive the shooting.
