Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 12630 Ashford Point Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a juvenile male at 12630 Ashford Point Drive about 6:10 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 4).

The male suspect, 14, was taken into custody and referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. 

The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers M. Combs and A. Barker reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and were told a male was shot in the right arm and transported to a local hospital.  The suspect returned to the scene as officers arrived.  He was questioned and taken into custody.   

Investigators learned the suspect also had a warrant for a probation violation in an unrelated case.
