Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1400 East Loop South (East Interstate Highway 610 South) about 12:50 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 2).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer C. Brothers reported:
Witnesses stated the victim was operating a black Yamaha MT10 motorcycle at a high rate of speed northbound on the freeway at the above address when he lost control and crashed. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The investigation is continuing.
