Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman at 12100 Beechnut Street about 9:15 p.m. on July 24.
The suspect vehicle is described only as a dark, possibly black, sedan of unknown make and model. Surveillance photos of the suspect’s vehicle are attached to this news release.
The victim, Crenesia Befford, 27, suffered multiple injuries and was transported to an area hospital. A photo of Befford is also attached to this news release.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer A. Gomez reported:
Ms. Befford was attempting to cross the roadway when the suspect vehicle, traveling westbound on Beechnut, struck Befford. The suspect continued driving westbound from the accident and did not stop to render aid. Befford suffered multipole injuries including broken bones and head trauma. Paramedics transported Befford to the hospital.
