Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man and two juveniles at 461 West Parker Road about 11:40 p.m. on Sunday (July 25).
The victims, Kaliegh Smith, 18, and a juvenile male and female, both 16, were transported to area hospitals in stable conditions.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives G. Black and J. Blum reported:
The two juveniles were attending a graduation party at a banquet hall at the above address. The male juvenile got into an argument with a known male suspect, who produced a pistol and fired one time, striking both juveniles.
Mr. Smith had just arrived at the party and parked across the street when people began running out of the banquet hall to their vehicles. An unknown person began shooting in the parking lot and another person, in the parking lot where Smith had parked, also began shooting. Smith was struck in the wrist and thigh. The suspects fled the scene.
